When Kinetic Arm first came to us, the brand had achieved notable early success — generating approximately $198K/month in paid revenue. However:
- Nearly 95% of that revenue came from baseball and softball, exposing the business to growth limitations and seasonality.
- Paid media efforts were fragmented and inefficient:
- Non-brand search campaigns weren’t scaling
- Performance Max and Shopping were cannibalising each other’s conversion paths
- Facebook plateaued below the desired 600% ROAS efficiency threshold
Kinetic Arm needed more than campaign tweaks — they needed a strategic growth partner to diversify demand, unlock new verticals, and build a repeatable performance system capable of exceeding $1M/month.
The Solution: Platform Roles, Creative Relevance & Rapid Learning
The core of our approach? Build a performance-led growth system that aligned strategy, creative, media, and analytics.
1. Redefining Platform Roles
We clarified the purpose of each paid channel:
- Search & Shopping: Bottom-of-funnel converters focused on high-intent queries
- Performance Max: A discovery engine for non-brand, multi-sport demand
- Facebook: A demand-creation and audience expansion channel
By excluding brand terms from Performance Max and reassigning them to Search and Shopping, we reduced cost inflation and improved conversion efficiency.
2. Sport-Specific Creative & Landing Experience
To drive relevance at scale:
- Each sport (football, tennis, volleyball, etc.) received tailored ad creative
- Dedicated landing pages mirrored key messaging, imagery, and benefits
- Keyword coverage expanded to support broader audiences
This increased contextual relevance and helped Kinetic Arm resonate with new sports communities.
3. Analytics-Driven Optimization
Growth didn’t come from set-and-forget automation — it came from daily performance analysis and weekly structural reviews.
- Budgets shifted dynamically between Shopping and Performance Max based on efficiency
- When data signaled increased football interest, we launched supporting assets rapidly
- Facebook engagement data informed geo-targeting and influenced search budget allocation downstream
At peak performance, up to 30% of revenue came from non-baseball sports, validating the expansion strategy.
The Results: A Transformational Growth Story
Paid revenue growth was transformational, scaling from $198K to $1,114,218 — a 461% increase that surpassed the $1M per month stretch goal.Google channel performance also accelerated significantly, with revenue increasing from approximately $76K to more than $400K, representing a 421% increase. At peak performance, return on ad spend reached 930.4%.
Efficiency improved alongside growth. Overall paid channel ROAS increased by 27.66%, while peak blended ROAS reached 690%, demonstrating that revenue expansion did not come at the expense of profitability.
Demand diversification became a defining outcome of the strategy. The brand’s heavy reliance on baseball and softball declined as sustained revenue emerged from football, tennis, volleyball, and additional sports categories.Facebook evolved into a measurable driver of incremental demand, contributing to lifts in branded search behavior and supporting downstream conversions across paid channels.
