Reports To: VP & Head of SEO
Symphonic Digital is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SEO Strategist to join our growing digital marketing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong foundation in SEO who is ready to take their expertise to the next level in a collaborative, remote agency environment.
As an SEO Strategist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing SEO strategies that drive meaningful results for our diverse portfolio of clients, including B2B, eCommerce, and agency partners. This role offers you the opportunity to apply your analytical skills and SEO knowledge to conduct audits, optimize on-page elements, improve technical SEO, and contribute to high-impact digital strategies.
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and communication skills who can effectively interpret SEO data and share actionable insights with both clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SEO and digital marketing channels such as content marketing, web development, and social media, and is eager to continue learning and growing within our dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities
SEO Analysis and Strategy Implementation
- Perform simple SEO audits and data analysis to uncover opportunities and recommend improvements in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Implement and monitor tailored SEO strategies that align with client goals, utilizing best practices in technical SEO, content, and link-building.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the SEO point of contact for small to midsize clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews with clients, presenting reports and strategic insights to ensure ongoing alignment and satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and analyze SEO performance metrics across all client accounts, providing actionable insights and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present detailed, data-driven SEO reports that clearly communicate results, trends, and next steps.
Technical SEO Optimization
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure website health, optimized crawlability, and adherence to SEO best practices.
- Execute and advise on advanced technical SEO strategies, including site structure improvements, speed optimization, and schema markup.
Research & Innovation
- Stay current with SEO trends, industry updates, and search engine algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Test and validate new SEO tactics and tools, contributing to team knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, with a track record of managing client relationships.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting complex data and strategies to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agency experience, particularly in managing accounts.
- Knowledge of PPC and digital advertising.
- Certifications in Google Analytics, SEO, or digital marketing are a plus.
